There are so many websites, binders, and information about cancer out there. It can be overwhelming, and hard to vet which resources are helpful. Here are some trusted resources that are a starting point.
Helpful tip: Ask your oncologist or your oncology social worker for a diagnosis letter, and keep a copy in your files. (This letter provides basic information on your diagnosis, diagnosis date, and treatment plan, and confirms that you have been under a physician’s care. This letter is handy when applying for financial assistance or support services that require medical verification.)

Located in 44 states and the District of Columbia. (When the term parent is used at Kesem, it includes any parent or guardian with primary or legal responsibility for a child. This includes biological, adoptive, and foster parents.
